cards for one reason or another. Now you can accept their check by
Phone, Fax, Internet, and e-mail. Yes it is a real check, and you print and deposit it in your bank.
No more long delays with "the check is in the mail". They fill out
their check information, click a button, and you print and deposit.
This is great for any business that receives checks as payment, and
there are no Credit Card fees to you or your customer. Businesses
can use the same program to write their own checks to their
suppliers. The only recurring cost, is the cost of the
security check paper for printing. It is costing us about 10 cents
for a check, where we were paying $$ in fees to the Credit Card
Company.
Is it Safe? the only information your customer
send is the information on their check. This is the same information
available when they send you a check in the mail, or give it to you
in person. The charge-backs drop to ZERO, as the check is "cleared"
by your bank, and remember a bad check is considered Fraud by law.
If the check comes back as insufficient funds, you are allowed to
charge a fee for the processing.
